Unexpected swans

We were surprised to see a group of swans preening themselves in Ryde harbour this morning.

We popped into Ryde for and early lunch and a hot chocolate pudding (at the chocolate apothecary - so good) and a last meet up with my cousin who had a meeting in Ryde today. L was intrigued by the train on the pier and the regular hovercraft arrivals and departures.

After the ferry was delayed a little we ended up taking a detour on the way home - the M25 was up to its usual tricks.

Home safe and sound.
