Berries Popping

I don't know what kind these are but aren't they interesting?  We walked along the river today from the Chagrin Blvd. entrance heading north through the deciduous and evergreen woods.  It was a very gray day, so it was great to find these berries and many other varieties, the golden maple and beech understory amongst the tall trees (see extra), and not too much water on the path after the blowing windstorm last night and this morning.  We also met Diesel, a handsome and friendly workhouse out for exercise with his sociable rider.
