Raindrops Keep Fallin'

Sadly, the South Chagrin/Cleveland Metroparks Arboretum has fewer living trees every time I visit.  Here's a dawn redwood, a deciduous conifer (which ends in an R) with mini raindrops spat on its tiny leaves.  Soon they will turn bronze and fall off until next year.  Thanks to Philippa/ApolloFly for hosting!

Chester thanks you for your comments yesterday.  He made his first trip to the vet today and did well.  Nothing seems to upset him, although he wasn't fond of having his tongue inspected.They suspect he was a stray because some of his paw pads were very dry but seem to be healing.     I've never known such a laid-back cat.   He didn't even cry in the car.  Clean habits, well-groomed, handsome, affectionate, independent...sounds like a perfect husband cat. :)
