Wild Thyme at Bannockburn

Today the Wanaka Walkers drove to Bannockburn, parked our cars and did the loop track back to the cars.  Here we are setting out through the Wild Thyme.  The first extra is of the hut at Stewart Town, the view from inside the hut, and the other extras are of the track.  Cloudy morning, with rain showers in the afternoon.  Not too cold.

The last extra is of my daughter with her Llew Summers Sculpture, 'Granite Heart'.  

Because it is a short walk, I still have 2,000 steps to do so will do that now before I settle in for the evening.
