Autumn berries

What a lovely day ......... the rain has gone & in its place a lovely crisp, sunny Autumn day! Yeah!!

Got a few jobs done .... then headed out for a walk to make the most of the sunshine!

We went to Westgate Woods ....... had a lovely walk ...... watched a Kestrel hunting for its supper .... unfortunately it was quite a long way off & the only photo I got was blurred .... but it was lovely to see it :-)

We also saw a pair of Wrens flitting about in the undergrowth, a blackbird & a Dunnock.

Heard quite a commotion ....... a group of Magpies were having a disagreement about something .... but they were too far away to see what was causing the rumpus!

I have chosen photos of Holly berries & Spindle tree fruit ..... I thought these summed up Autumn colours rather well & they stayed still which was a bonus! Hope you like them :-)
