The Idiot

Bob’s been getting a lot of attention the last couple of days. Firstly the Silverback took him to the car wash, put a few coins in the box and gave him the works from ‘pre-wash soak’ right through to ‘the foaming brush’ and ‘high pressure rinse’. The next day the Folks took everything out of his storage areas and vacuumed away all the desert dust. Today he went for a service. He’s in tip top condition now, I bet he feels great!

There’s another person travels with us in the van that I haven’t talked about before. The Silverback calls him ‘the idiot’. He’s in the front somewhere. The thing I like about him is that he has a calm reassuring voice. Even when we are lost and the Silverback’s calling him by his ‘full name’; the idiot just answers in a totally zen voice “at the roundabout take the third exit” or something equally reassuring. I love his voice. It’s so soothing, it helps me sleep when we’re driving along!
