It was 3°C when I set off.
I stopped at nearly 2 coffee shops.

The beauty of snapping your front gear cable is that you still have 11 gears to play with, including the best one! 

...Allowing me still to enjoy 62 gorgeous miles of sunshine over Malham Moor.

Thankfully, I’d asked Chris to change my back gear cable a fortnight ago so I was fairly certain at least that one should hang in there.
