a moment of sun

it was grey and dreary all day, although no rain unfortunately...but right as the sun was about to go down it broke through the clouds rather spectacularly for just a few minutes, and I was lucky enough to catch sight of it from the window...mad dash outside and I caught this across the fields.

the builder came and fixed my droopy garage ceiling today, finally, I'v only waited how many years? now I can put all that junk important stuff, up in the attic and maybe, if I'm lucky, I'll be able to actually fit my car in there again...oh the luxury, I can't wait :0)

The kids had a blast painting over white crayon drawings today, thank you pinterest for making me "cool mama" - they thought it was the best thing in the world. Tomorrow, or Monday, we're going to paint black over coloured crayon - I think they might like that too.
