Day off

An entirely self indulgent day off with no particular plans. Isn’t that an appalling state of affairs that I should consider that self indulgent? Anyway, a swim where I have tentatively started building in a spot of front crawl and I reached the half way point of my swimming challenge, just two swims behind. Then a trip to the market for all the fruit and veg and home for light pottering.

Then a fine afternoon out at Benelia’s house for the sewing lesson she gave me for my birthday. I took my project, she interpreted the pattern and I did all the sewing. It was a very fabulous time, it’s very nearly finished and I learnt loads of stuff (chiefly, get Benelia to read sewing patterns!). A proper day off, it was great.
