Getting Ready

I have to say I've never been a fan of Halloween. I tried to play it down when my own kids were asking for turnip lanterns but The Grandchildren have really got wound up for it to be an exciting event.

To save Mummy having to make 2 on her day off, The Man and I got to work on them. The Man cut off the lid and scooped out the seeds then I got a sharp knife and cut out the design Emily had chosen for hers.

In other activities the kids wanted to play on the zip wire at Millhouses Park. Scared the life out of me seeing 6 and 7 year-olds being flung about like this! Emily is in the extras having her go.
