Wednesday: High Tide Red Wharf Bay

Another fine but cold day.
Realised I had no sweet treats for tomorrow night so off to Home Bargains to buy sweets & chocolates.
Weather so nice that I decided on a quick walk to the beach before lunch. MrD has been down a few hours earlier when tide was coming in. Wind still easterly so blowing straight in off the sea, very bracing!! You can just see the waves breaking to the right of today’s blip ...
Blackberries are still ripening near the beach, picked 2 handfuls - hadn’t taken a container. Very unusual to get nice fruit so late but very welcome in compote with Bramley apples.
Had a few more hazelnuts this afternoon, so a successful foraging day :-))
We’ll be watching “Doc Martin” later ...
