Sheffield Park
I've had another couple of blipless days, it's hard when it's a working day, the weather's crap and now it's dark when I finish, but I was off today and the sun shone! I'm working slightly different, longer shifts for the next couple of weeks as my colleague Maria has gone on holiday, so my days off are Wednesday and Thursday.
This morning I had a hospital appointment with Ben Caesar about my shoulder, and unfortunately I now have surgery booked for 20th November. The downside is that the recovery period is up to 6 weeks so it's going to be tricky not being able to drive, cook, or go to work. And it's my right arm, so I'm not going to be able to take any photos, so fingers crossed it doesn't take that long.
Once I came out of the hospital I went back to Sheffield Park as the autumn colours have really peaked now and I wasn't disappointed. The new camera bag was great, particularly the 'changing mat' which was perfect for kneeling on. I spent a good three hours there, then had a few errands to do on the way home and I don't know where the rest of the day's gone!
Happy hump day!
