Australia 2019 - Day 20 - Cairns

I think Cairns has replaced Perth as my favourite Australian city so far. I love the place.

We arrived late afternoon as the tide was going out on the mudflats so we were able to watch the wading birds feeding (see extras). We then saw the amazing sight of hundreds of fruit bats flying across to their roosting site over the estuary. Unfortunately it was too dark to get any decent shots.
