Waverley

A long day of travelling. Dropped off by my wife at Downham Market, and first to Ely where I went into work for an hour to get things sorted for the return, and discover a big box of labels for important locations around the school site, made for us by What3Words. Down to get the train to Peterborough, which left me a quick turn round before joining the train North to Edinburgh. Sandwich and snacks for a long journey. Had the window seat on the coastal side but views were murky. Quick ten minute changeover in Waverley as trains were delayed, and out to to Stirling. Arrived as the other conference organisers arrived at the hotel and was invited out for a meal with some familiar friends and some new folks including the 2 keynote speakers. Nice food and plenty of red wine.
