SAGT Conference 2019

Up early, breakfast and lift to Dollar Academy below the Ochills on a crisp day and set up for the conference. Met up with over 100 other Geographers and discussions. Two keynotes: Lorna Dawson talking about crime and soil forensics, and Doug Allan talking about his career as a wildlife photographer in the Antarctic and connections with climate change. This image is of me during the seminar that I led on the resource I'm creating about South Georgia for the South Georgia Heritage Trust. Back to Dundee when the conference finished for an evening of catch-up in front of the log burner.
