Trying to keep warm

Woke up this morning and knew the heating wasn't working. I had my shower (its electric thankfully) before I went into the garage. I turned the tap to increase the water pressure and it squirted out at me and poured out. Had to abandon that. I've got a small fan heater that is coming round the house with me. I've got these ready for when I need them later, together with a hot water bottle! All reminiscent of my house in Burnley in 1988 when we only had heat in one room.
The engineers are coming Tuesday to repair the boiler. I'm out for a time both tomorrow and Monday. Thankfully it's not as cold as it was and I am cosy in my living room.
