We're off

After a very long process, we're finally off on our two-year adventure to California. This is a journal of that time, not put here for the quality of the photos (clearly...), but for the memories it'll save for us and to share some of it with others.
This last couple of weeks have been much harder than I thought. Harder to leave family, friends, my house. And with actual deaths in that time too, it seems like there has been an awful lot of endings.
Now we can start to look forward to the new beginnings....
