A rainy day....

After a lovely long lie in, and some breakfast, i got out the paints, plugged myself into some music and had a wonderful hour or so just noodling with some paint!  Just some sketches really, but it felt so good to be exploring an idea, using yesterdays blip .... then we had to pack up and head out.

The rain was rather continuous, but we were quite happy noodling about the area.  Found this interesting beach and happened to land there within the small window when the rain had stopped!  so we had a great walk....it was a bit slippy, all that kelp was a bit tricky to walk on!

But i was just so astonished at the fabulous colours and compositions the rocks and kelp gave me....more food for thought ....

Home late afternoon, in the dark cos the clocks went back. 

So lovely to get away for a weekend, and the place we found was awesome, i'm sure we'll head back there again!
