A long but easy journey took us to Aylesbury today, and we were greeted by more drizzle, as we got off the train.

But no matter. We were here to see Steve Hackett of early Genesis fame begin his UK tour.

If, like me, you were brought up on a diet of 70's prog, then this was perfect. Lots of Genesis with American vocalist Nad Silvan sounding eerily like Peter Gabriel, and a good dose of SH's solo work, in particular Spectral Morning on its 40th birthday.

It's back to Spain tomorrow. I think we are well and truly rocked out.
