A Bridge Too Far

Our journey to Gatwick was straightforward, if rather claustrophobic on the Bakerloo line. Once at the airport, we enjoyed the comforts of the VIP Lounge, courtesy of David. You knew I'd brought him along for a reason.

When our gate was called, it turned out to be as far from the lounge as it's possible to get. Along endless corridors, over this massive span of bridge and then more corridors to Gate 111.

Add that to a 20 minute taxi to the runway and you would be forgiven for thinking we were doing most of the trip to Málaga by road.

A good following wind got us home in good time. Warm and dry. How lovely it is to be back.
