Merrylegs

My sister-in-law has a really lovely custom-made rocking horse, modelled on Merrylegs in the old Ladybird book "The Discontented Pony" by Noel Barr. So I've blipped a portrait of him today.

Otherwise we've had a lovely day: my brother & sister-in-law usually spend their Tuesdays looking after their 16-month old granddaughter who lives nearby. She's an absolute darling and a delight and seemed to be happy to play with her Great Uncle David!
