We've brought Nell and Flora drying coats to try and protect our freshly painted walls from mud spatters and to speed things up in the morning. Nell wasn't v impressed.

Day went totally tits up when I got a message on the way to see the horses to say Kerry had an error message on the electric van and it wouldn't start. I diverted to her and helped ferry dogs about to keep on track and make sure everyone got walked. Mike had to leave work to get his multi meter as he suspected it was something to do with the 12v battery after a bit of Google research. The battery seemed low powered so he went into town to get a new battery. I continued to ferry Kerry about to collect and drop off dogs in the car. Mike arrived back with the battery . The engine started but still had the fault warning on it. I had to dash off to chuck some feed at the Neds and fetch the kids so Mike called the AA out. They got it going but couldn't clear the fault code so not sure if the fault was due to the 12v battery dying or whether there is still actually a fault there. But it's going so I will just have to be on standby for tomorrow and see what happens. And now Mike has 3 hrs of work to catch up. The Nissan dealer can't fit it in for 3 weeks which is just ridiculous and highlights we need to find a garage that can deal with an electric van close by as our regular garage doesn't.

Hairdresser came this evening then I headed back to the yard to check on the horses again. No fireworks in the village but still sounded like world war 3!! They were all fine anyway thank goodness. There is a big display on Saturday right next to the yard so that's where I'll be spending my Sat night!!
