Eva rode Jack in the school tonight with Georgia who was on her mum's horse 'Legs'. Eva asked if she could have a sit on Legs afterwards and even rode her back to the stables.

Found out at 5.30pm that the @rseholes that live next to the yard were having a firework display at 8pm. Presumably it was just for themselves since we're supposed to be in lock down but a friend went down to check her horses and text to say it was very loud. Bit bloody selfish and unnecessary when you live next door to 50+ horses.

So I had to leave Jack in as he's still in a tiny paddock that I'm strip grazing over winter. He's only been in it since Saturday so it's not been extended much lately and if he did get stressed he'd have no where to go as he's only over the road from the fireworks. Annoyed the yard owner didn't let everyone know about it as I would have left him out today and just brought in overnight. Fortunately he came in later than normal today as I rode Lime first but I hadn't soaked enough hay for him either as thought he'd be going out.

Lime was brilliant today. Did feel very stiff at first but he's now got a couple of canter spots in the woods and as soon as he gets to them he's off whether I like it or not (luckily I like it!!).

Also achieved cleaning all of our upstairs and did the invoicing. Sadly that's not such a big job these days. Other good news is that mum feels much better today and should be coming out tomorrow evening!
