Borlotti boy
After a long day on the windows with intermittent rain I posed the borlotti beans. I’d like to think that they are ‘lingue di fuoco’ - tongues of fire.
Had Italian radio on the tranny during my labouring hours. Was advertising shops in the vicinity.
I generally listen to bbc radio 4 and five on my phone but a relief for it not to be constantly cutting out on the Sounds app.
Needless to say the ground is supersaturated and good for nothing but landslides (frane). Bloke at Silvia’s shop reckoned its time to plant garlic - on a the next ‘Luna buona’ - literally ‘good [ie full] moon’ .
I love the way speaking and pondering Italian makes me think about my mother tongue.
