Real world learning!!

A total coincidence that today's science lesson for my class was based on designing an umbrella for Winnie the Pooh!! We tested several materials using water bring squirted onto the material above a teddy bear's head...but really we could've just used the rain falling from the sky!

It has been torrential rain ALL day and still it rains on, it has literally not stopped. There's lots of local flooding and the roads are just rivers. Unbelievable!
