Ready!

On Hayborough Beach this morning. A regular visit after we've done our shopping at the local farmer's market. A nice cool cloudy day for a change... very welcome after the heat. It even "rained" a bit... not enough to wet anything though.

Ruby is very happy when she can find something for me to throw. An old pinecone this time. I don't take a ball to the beach anymore because she inevitably leaves it in the water out of my reach which is OK if I'm in bathers. She is not a retriever but has trained me to be one. Better exercise for me that way.
