40 knot winds

It was blowing white caps at 40 knots today: beyond gale force. This is not too uncommon out here on these windy seas.

It makes it rough and uncomfortable for me on the boat sometimes, but it is pure joy for the albatross. They revel in the winds: laughing out loud even as the winds scream and shriek.
