Silver birch in golden glory.

View from my father's kitchen window. I had mentioned to a friend about the trees at the back of my father's garden, so took this shot of the silver birch in all its golden glory before the leaves fall. With recent winds I think that's likely to be quite soon.
Behind the birch are a few pine trees, one was just a Christmas tree that was thrown out one year and took all by itself and is now about 50 foot high. The birch was blown there by seed and appeared of its own accord.
