Surfers on Tynemouth Longsands

The sea was relatively calm and flat for the sky reflection here, but had been quite choppy with decent wave crests for surfers only minutes before.
The beach was marked by bands of wave foam. The chap in red is the surf instructor. Looked like great fun, but I was quite happy to be on the beach behind a camera.
