Taking Shelter
Once the rain had eased we decided to make to the Castleton tea-rooms again for lunch which was a lovely interlude in a very wet and initially very windy day. (Very windy all night too.). I thought I’d stop to take today’s blip as there was some colour on the hillside - the sheep were a bonus. In this part of the North York Moors you can always find a small flock of sheep wandering along the roadside. This little group had clearly decided to seek what shelter they could.
A good lunch again and back to do a bit more in my sketch book. It hasn’t been a photography day today - the heavy rain and hail put an end to contemplating a longer trip out today.
