Resurfacing
Earlier in the week was frantic....pacing up the house finding places for things.
Too much has gone on to write about. The fact that the removalists didn't turn up on the day we were due to move out because of total incompentancy of the insurance company..that has not been the only thing...fighting tooth and nail for everything has been exhausting.
Anyway now we are down at the coast in out little house.....not the most salubrious of places but we are finding our feet and slowly unwinding.......Romeo and Beetle included.
We went up to the point last night to take photos of the sunset....the smoke from the fires that are still raging around the place has made it impossible to get much colour from the sky. A big orange ball in a misty sky.......but an almost lavender sky at that (I was too tired to post anything last night).
This morning I got Flynn and Peter up (who are sharing a room at the insistance of the boy) @ 4am...........I forgot about daylight saving and by the time we got to the beach for sunrise we had to wait an hour....oppps sorry guys.
Well we waited and waited ..."where the hell is it?".......it rose behind a bank of smoke and it wasn't until about 20mins after rise that we got to see it (extra)...another bright orange ball in the sky.
On our way back home we stop to take some pics of this tree that we spotted the night before and thought it might make a good blip...the light was so much better down on the river.
