Consolation

Well, there was one clear consolation for not making it on the Book Group outing to Dublin, and that was making it to the opening day of the Seasalt Shop on George Street. Things were purchased using the opening day discount. Styles will be tried that I wouldn't dare try if I were just shopping online. The place was heaving with women of a certain age and disposition. And a few men. I may have to give it a wide berth in the future to protect my bank balance. We then had a fine tapas lunch, after Mr A had failed to find what he wanted in Lakeland.

Other than that we've made some planning decisions about Christmas and January which I can implement when I get a reply to an email.

So overall it's a day of shopping and planning.
