We nipped into Skibbereen today to view the exhibition Chair at Uillin. Cheeryoscuro had already visited during the week and I took an almost identical photo to him - see extra. We rather liked the exhibition - good strong painting, no arty farty language and an interesting air about them. The dawn chorus background seemed a bit odd to me but it was all about fleeting moments, ephemeral space ...
However I got seduced by a bit of dereliction. For some reason I just love this old pub - I think it's the hopeful vase of plastic flowers left on the window ledge. And the lettering. An awful lot of dereliction in Skib yet it manages to feel busy and fairly prosperous.
