Red Boat
A dull and murky morning gave way to a sun drenched, colour saturated afternoon! We nipped round the circuit. Please don't look at the splodge - the camera was booked in just as lockdown happened so it came back instead.
We have been hard at it. I mentioned Himself has been revamping the blog - well it is now good enough to go live. I whipped up a new blog to test it. Still a lot to do, mainly the Gazetteer - nearly 400 wells to have their info re entered. We've done East Cork so far :/
Thank you to those who listened in to Bedtime with Barry yesterday and he did play Last of the Mohicans but unfortunately forgot to turn his mic off at that point and there was a cough in the middle! Nonetheless a very mellow selection. The rest of the family always marvel at how he has the full quota of opera and musical genes.
Other than that the excitement has been a seaweed bath. No don't worry, not in the barrels, yes I do remember what happened last timel. This is a more modest little bag of dried seaweed that expands and gooifies once it goes into the bath. The bag tends to look like a dead sheep afterwards. Anway it's blissful except Himself is complaining that it's like going to bed with a mermaid, rather a marine pong I have to confess. However, I reckon there's another bath to be had out of it yet! Then it can go on the compost. Eco too.
