Gathered

After overcoming the challenges of getting everyone here to Derbyshire yesterday, we've had a lovely day together for my deferred birthday gathering. A nice relaxed start to the day, I (Chris) popped out in the mist for lunch bits and pieces and once consumed, I was given birthday gifts.

We all then went out for a walk on part of the Monsal Trail. Although cold, once we were moving it was fine and only in the last 20 minutes did the rain begin to fall.  

Tonight we're off out to a local restaurant for a meal, we can hear the rain outside now so hopefully it hasn't been impacted by the conditions of the last few days!
