Noli Timere
What a grand day out in Dublin.
After a somewhat filling breakfast we headed over to the Seamus Heaney exhibition (Listen Now Again) - it was wonderful. What a man ! What a poet ! We came away captivated and clutching a book of his poems.
Noli Timere is the Latin for Don't Be Afraid; his last words in a text to his wife.
We then visited Chester Beatty Museum where I enjoyed the gardens and then headed to MoLI, the newly opened Museum of Literature. It too was wonderful.
A short visit to National Museum to see the Bog Bodies (sobering) followed.
Finally we enjoyed a cocktail at the Vintage Cocktail Club.
Currently pausing for breathe before heading out to dinner.
