Reflecting...

Final day in Dublin - today we focused on political & social history.

Our first port of call was Kilmainham Gaol: sombre. 

After lunch we visited the Decorative Arts & History  museum which included an exhibition exploring 1916 Uprising and another in remembrance of those sent to and born in Mother and Baby Homes & Magadalene Laundries: incredibly moving.

Now at airport with lots to think about and investigate further.
