Fortunately the water levels fell this morning as dramatically as they had risen yesterday but some fields were still left soddened. Rain will stop play on our village cricket ground for some time, luckily they are out of season. We did manage a game of golf as our club has 2 courses and the Moorland course is on higher ground and drains very well so it was open today, although it was a bit cold out there.
