Sewing day

Our monthly Saturday sewing session in a neighbouring village.
Not everyone sews, as you can see one of the ladies was making cards. Beautiful.

The topics of conversation were varied. We are all ladies aged 50+ years. Three ladies have lost parents recently (died, not gone astray) and discussed the trials and tribulations of dealing with the necessary authorities!!! Two others are heading off to spend Christmas with family in warm places. Several discussed TV programmes, who will be eliminated, who do they want to win......!!!

I listened, we had a laugh, I enjoyed a cream cake (naughty but nice) and plodded on with the quilt.

It was a cold morning 1 degree, no rain today !!!
