Too cold

It was too cold today to eat our lunch outside on the golf club balcony. Instead we were in the comfortable dining room for the Sunday Carvery. We had invited friends to join us and son J and d.i.l M came too. We had plenty to talk about and managed to keep off the subject of the election and Brexit - almost. We heard all about J and M’s recent holiday in Berlin, Krakow and Prague, it sounded so interesting. Back home they joined us for a cup of tea and we caught up with all their family news. They are on their way home now and will phone when they get there, a family requirement.
