Loch Eddy

A great walk today with Mrs P exploring The Glen, near Traquair. The walk started from Glen House (see extra), owned by the Tennant family and famous for its secluded loch once frequented by Prime Ministers and princesses (Margaret to be precise). The walk involved treking through the Glen estate and reaching a tiny loch, loch Eddy which looked fabulous against the backdrop of Autumn colours. We had to negotiate some pretty rough terrain across moorland filled with ferns but the journey was worth it as it is a hidden gem.
