City Line

This is our local train which runs every half-hour, though not on Sundays. It takes about 12 minutes to reach the city centre, compared with the bus which takes twice as long even when the traffic is light.

To the left of the track by the train is a long, narrow strip of water, constantly replenished with rainwater draining off the bank. Ducks swim there, paddling madly every time a train passes!
