The Horn Bridge Aquaduct!
We've just had the most intense rain/hail storm that has caused a lot of localised flooding. Within 10 minutes our stream was running faster than I've ever seen and was overflowing straight on to the lane outside our house. From here all the water ran down the old Roman Road to the River Lym - it was several inches deep and flowing extremely fast making driving up the lane almost impossible for a time.
This image is Horn Bridge where all of this water was pouring into the river Lym (just out of shot). The bridge had turned into an aquaduct and Oliver and Thomas are heading back up Roman Road to our house. I took this about 20 minutes after the storm had subsided, and the water levels on the road had already receded quite a lot.
