The Five Rathas

In Mamallapuram and all carved from single large rocks (!) in the 7th century. It was a very cheerful atmosphere there with some Indian music in the background.

It‘s the first day we‘re touring around and so many impressions to take and digest. At least we didn‘t have any cultural shock and are enjoying people and culture here. Important for blippers: no problems to take pictures. It‘s even the other way round: my wife has already been asked twice for selfies with her.
