For the Sailors . . .

Yesterday's propeller seemed to provoke quite a bit of interest amongst the nautical types, so I thought I'd go for something similar today! This one was dragged off the beach last summer and is quietly rusting away behind the old sheds. Most of you will know what size of a dog Ollie is, he is a bearded collie so fairly sizeable, so that should give you some idea of scale.

All the wrecks on the shore are owned, and occasionally the chap they belong to comes down and casts an eye over them. He used to get irate about folk stealing bits of them for fire wood before someone pointed out to him that actually it was the sea, smashing bits off them and washing them away!
