The gap in the forest

There is a small gap in the forest above our house through which we used to get our satellite tv signal.

Eventually we had to reposition the satellite dish as the tress had grown too big and were blocking the line of sight.

This part of the woodland will be harvested this year so in a sense this is the last chance to see this accidental feature which was particularly interesting this afternoon because of a little vortex of cloud briefly visible through it.
