The last of the daylight
Just as the light was going I popped outside to take a photo of the Dents du Midi but noticed this view. My neighbours house is all lit up and behind it through the snow covered trees you can see the local church. What you can't tell from this photo is that between here and the church is a big ravine. It is amazing how clearly the bells echo across but hardly surprising really considering how close it is. I have been watching the snowman in the garden recently - it used to be made of 3 balls, then the head fell off and earlier this week it lost the middle ball. I wonder if the children who live in the house are going to build it up again now that there's some fresh snow.
