The Great Ouse and Swans
After my brief (and painless) visit to my delightful dentist, I wandered to the river, hoping to gain access to the boat club for some ad hoc boating shots. But it was all locked up, so I contented myself with getting as close as I dared (without causing distress) to a family of swans.
The nearest swan was making gentle head and neck movements, up and down; I was happy to accept these a warning to remain at a decent distance.
The extra is another attempt at yesterday's autumn colours. It's a Raw file which seems to have worked OK, although the foliage in the distant trees still looks less than sharp at 100% on my computer.
