Today...

This is today with the work part left out. The baby and her momma and I walked at Tingley Beach. Joe got exiled to the car for being overly friendly with children who didn't belong to me and then crawling into the lap of an animal control officer, who thank goodness thought he was a cute good boy. The pansies are in barrels all over the park. The duck followed us for most of the walk, either swimming next to us or trotting behind. She was well rewarded. Today was a day when we mostly fed the ducks and ignored the Canadian thugs, aka Canadian geese. The baby enjoyed the walk. There was a gorgeous sunset.

The vases are at their next step. They were bisque fired overnight, and today got glazed and loaded into a glaze firing that will run overnight. Tomorrow it is out of the kiln and into the mail to my little bro. My partner and I managed to get about 45 vases and another 5 pitchers glazed. I hope we get 25 good ones out of the batch.

Today, I am grateful for the day I was given, a schedule for the vases that worked out to the "T", the baby, her momma, Joe and some adorable ducks.
