cold and blustery

We got up early this morning to make a two hour drive to partake in an eagle watch. Unfortunately, the viewing conditions were less than perfect. Not only was it cold and blustery, but there were snow flurries off and on that obstructed our view of the majestic birds perched across the frozen reservoir.
We did "see" four bald eagles in the murky distance, but none were blipworthy. So this little kestrel that was perched on our side of the reservoir wins the blip prize for the day.
